Patient Access
We operate a repeat prescription service allowing patients on long term medication to obtain a prescription without consulting the Doctor when their condition is stable. Patients’ medication will however be reviewed at regular intervals (at least annually).
Non-urgent advice: Notice
Please allow at least 48 hours (2 working days) notice when requesting your repeat medication as demand is extremely high.
We also offer you the opportunity of sending your signed prescription to the local Pharmacy. This will allow you to collect your medication or have this delivered to you directly and hopefully reduce your waiting times. We no longer post prescriptions out, please nominate a Pharmacy of your choice to have your prescription sent electronically.
We can take your repeat prescription request over the phone between 10am and 4pm daily. Please have a list of the medication you need ready to read out to us when you call as we cannot accept ‘everything’ or ‘what I had last time’.
