Appointments

Home Visits

If you are ill and unable to attend the surgery please telephone as early as possible with your symptoms and a contact number. Visits are usually done between 1pm and 3pm, when the Doctors have finished their morning surgery.  Home visits are at the Doctors discretion.

Keeping your Appointment

If you find that you are unable to keep your appointment it is important that you contact us in good time to cancel. This allows us to offer your appointment to someone else in need.

You should also inform the hospital if you are unable to keep a hospital appointment as it may result in you being discharged from their service and delay your care should a further referral become necessary.

Please be punctual. A doctors appointment is for 10 minutes. If you arrive late for your appointment you may have to wait until the end of surgery or may be asked to re-book. We will endeavour to keep to time but will inform you if the doctor is running late.

Telephone Advice

If you need advice about a health problem or a query regarding medication and simply wish to speak to a Doctor or Nurse please telephone the surgery. We will ask for your name and contact number and a brief description of your query if you are able to give it.

Please let us know, if it is a personal matter and you do not feel able to tell us. Your call will be returned as soon as a Doctor or Nurse becomes available. This is usually after surgery finishes.
