Reception Hours
Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm
Reception Staff are available from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm every day to deal with general enquiries, booking appointments and the collection and ordering of repeat prescriptions.
If you are calling to order a repeat prescription please call after 10am, the telephone lines are busy between 8am and 10am with people ringing for appointments.
The Practice closes on a Wednesday afternoon eight times per year to allow for City wide training events organised by Sunderland Clinical Commissioning Group. A notice will be displayed at Reception to inform you when this is happening. During these times you can access medical help and advice via NHS 111.
The Practice is not open on Bank Holidays or weekends, but you will have access to a GP via our Extended Access Service. When the Practice is closed appointments for this service can be booked via NHS 111.
Surgery Times (By Appointment)
Surgery starts times vary from day to day. There is a doctor on site from 8:00am to 6:00pm daily to deal with emergencies. We do our best to accommodate patients who work or who may rely on someone who works.

Appointments can be booked from 8.00am every weekday either by telephone or on attendance at the Practice, up to 5 days in advance. Alternatively, you can register to book appointments online via Patient Access or the new NHS app.
We aim to offer patients an appointment with a healthcare professional within 48 hours. We will try to comply with all requests to see particular doctors though this may not always be possible depending on holidays and commitments outside of the Practice.
